LA FORÊT
เป็นภาษาฝรั่งเศส แปลว่า ป่าไม้ ชิ้นนี้ได้แรงบันดาลใจ
จากป่าไม้ในภาคใต้ของประเทศไทย ฉันเกิดที่นั่น ฝนที่ตกชุกเกือบทั้งปี ต้นไม้ที่เขียวชะอุ่มเกือบตลอดปี
เป็นภาพที่ฉันจำได้ขึ้นใจ เรียกว่าเป็นความทรงจำในช่วงนึงของชีวิตดีกว่า ป่าไม้ทางใต้เป็นแนวภูเขายาวลงไป
ที่จำชื่อได้คือ เทือกเขาบรรทัด เขาสก เทือกเขาสันกะลาคีรี มีไม้นานาพันธุ์ และสีเขียวของต้นไม้พวกนั้น
ก็ให้ความรู้สึกที่ชุ่มชื้นเสมอ ฉันชอบเวลาที่ฝนตกแล้วกลิ่นความชื้นของป่าไม้อบอวลขึ้นมาจากพื้น เสียงฝนที่กระทบใบไม้
ป่าไม้เป็นบ้านของสัตว์หลายชนิด อีกทั้งยังมีต้นไม้ต้นใหญ่ๆที่ตอนนี้ฉันไม่เห็นมันอีกแล้วที่เล่ามานี้ไม่ได้หมายความว่า
บ้านฉันอยู่ในป่า บ้านฉันอยู่ในสวน เวลาอยากเข้าป่าฉันก็ต้องไปน้ำตกดาดฟ้า เขาสก หรือวนอุทยานแห่งชาติต่างๆ
ฉันไปที่เขาสกเมื่อไม่นานมานี้ ขุนเขาที่เรียงตัวสูง มองจากมุมล่างแล้วเหมือนต้นไม้พวกนั้นโน้มตัวมาหาเรา
เรื่องมหัศจรรย์คือ นกเงือกที่บินคู่กันผ่านหน้ารีสอร์ทไป ย้ายจากต้นหนึ่งไปอีกต้นหนึ่ง และนั่นคือจุดเริ่มต้นของ LA FORÊT
ในผลงานชิ้นนี้ ฉันวาดนก 3 ชนิดที่ฉันประทับใจ รวมถึงพันธุ์ไม้แบบต่างๆ
นกเงือก Hornbill, นกกะรางหัวขวาน Eurasian Hoopoe, นกแซวสวรรค์ Asian Paradise Flycatcher
ส่วนดอกไม้และไม้ป่า ฉันก็วาดไปหลายชิ้น เน้นที่สีเขียว ชุ่มชื้นเป็นหลัก เช่น ตาเสือทุ่ง ตาเสือลูกใหญ่ ตาเสือเหลือง
ปาล์มไผ่ ปอขนุน ทองไหลมา เฟินข้าหลวงหลังลายญี่ปุ่น ชงโคดำ ยี่หุบเขาหลวง จั๋งด่าง จั๋งใต้ใบติด
สาละลังกา เลือดในใต้ ติ้วเกลี้ยง หยีน้ำ ฟิโลใบมะละกอ กระพ้อนกแอ่น หางนกยูง ทองหลางน้ำ ชมพูซ้อน หางนกยูง
LA FORÊT is French for forest.
This art piece was inspired from forests in southern Thailand, where I’m born.
In this region, the rain falls most of the year which makes nature lush.
It is a beautiful picture and memory of my childhood that I cannot forget, and I keep in my heart.
The southern forests extend over a long mountain range including the Banthat Mountains, Khao Sok Mountains, Sankalakhiri Mountains, home of variety of trees, plants, and wildlife.
The southern forest always awakens my senses. I love the sound of raindrops hitting the leaves making a beautiful melody. I love the smell of forest after raining when the humidity rises from the ground.
I love to travel to Dad Fha Waterfall, Khao Sok National Park or other national parks where I can contemplate high mountains. Looking from the bottom, it looks like the trees are leaning towards us.
But the miracle happens when you get the chance to see Hornbills flying together from tree to tree. It's like a dance, it is breathtaking moment.
All this where my inspiration for LA FORÊT.
In this work, I drew 3 kinds of birds that impress me: Great Hornbill, Eurasian Hoopoe and Asian Paradise Flycatcher
I also drew a variety of flowers and wild plants: Bauhinia Pottsii, Asplenium, Cannonball tree, Monstera, False bird of paradise, Bird's Nest Fern, Yellow Cow Wood, Purple Coral Tree, Hong Kong rose, Campylotropis bonny, Pongame oiltree, Poinciana, Quickstick among others.
Hornbill
นกเงือก นกใหญ่แห่งป่าลึก สัญลักษณ์แห่งรักเดียวและ
หากป่าไม้อุดมสมบูรณ์ เราก็จะมีนกเงือกบินล้อกันไปจากต้นหนึ่ง ไปอีกต้นหนึ่ง
ที่เขาสกเราก็จะเห็นมันบ่อยๆ ถึงจะไม่ใช่ระยะใกล้ชิด
ชงโคดำ Bauhinia Pottsii เป็นไม้พุ่มที่เลื้อยไปกับต้นไม้อื่น ดอกสีแดงมีลาย
สีเหลืองพบในป่าที่ต่ำ ในสุราษฏร์ธานี นครศรีธรรมราช สตูล นราธิวาส
เฟินข้าหลวงหลังลายลูกผสม (ด่าง) Asplenium hybrid ใบยาวออกเวียน
รอบต้นดูคล้ายรังนกจึงมีชื่อว่า Bird’s Nest Fern
สาละลังกา couroupita guianensis พบได้ในภาคใต้ของไทย ดอกใหญ่
สีขาวถึงชมพู หรือสีม่วงอมแดง กลีบดอกจะแตกตัวออกมาจากผลกลม
บอบบาง “ร่วงก่อน หรือ ทันทีที่พระอาทิตย์ตกดิน”
พลูฉลุ Monstera เป็นไม้เลื้อยขึ้นต้นไม้ใหญ่ มีหลาหลายแบบ ปัจจุบัน
รวมเป็นชื่อ M. obliqua ใบไม้ที่แปลกดี เหมือนโดยฉลุลายตรงใบ
กะพ้อ แรมเซย์ มันก็จะมีอีกหลายพันธ์ที่ดูคล้ายๆ กัน เช่น กะพ้อคูณเม็ง
ใบที่แผ่ขยายออกมาบางทีก็ทำให้ถึงนกยูง ใบแข็ง สีเขียวเข้ม เส้นยาว
แขวนก้ามปูกุ้งก้ามกราม Heliconia rostrata หรือ false bird of paradise
ดอกไม้ที่คว่ำหน้าลง และกักเก็บน้ำไว้ให้นก และแมลง ดอกสีแดงเลื้อยลงมา
และพันธุ์ไม้อื่นๆ เช่น สาวน้อยประแป้ง ช้างเอราวัณ เตยหอม ต้นยาง ต้นสะตอ
Hornbill
A great bird of the deep forest, a symbol of one love. It can be seen at Khao Sok National park. Hornbill has a large yellow bill and casque, black face, wings, and breast contrast with white neck, belly, and tail.
Bauhinia Pottsii is a shrub that climbs with other plants. Flowers are red with stripes. It is found in low forests in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Satun, Narathiwat.
Asplenium hybrid is a fern with long, circular leaves. It is found around trees and look like a bird's nest, so it's called Bird's Nest Fern.
Couroupita Guianensis found in southern Thailand, known as cannonball tree, has large flowers with white to pink petals. The flowers are strongly scented and are especially fragrant at night and in the early morning. Fragile, it is said that flowers "falls before or as soon as the sun goes down"
Monstera or Swiss cheese plant is a large plant. There are many types.
The leaves are solid, dark green with long veins.
Heliconia rostrata or false bird of paradise flower has beautiful red and green flowers downward-facing, storing water for birds and insects, especially the hummingbirds.

Eurasian Hoopoe
นกกะรางหัวขวาน นกตัวนี้ลักษณะแปลกตาดี
เป็นนกขนาดกลางมีสีสวย มีลักษณะเด่นที่จำง่ายคือมีหงอน คล้ายหมวกของ
พวกอินเดียแดงพบทั่วทั้งทวีปแอฟริกาและยูเรเชียพร้อมทั้งทั่วประเทศไทย
เสียงร้องยิ่งน่ารัก ชอบส่งเสียงร้อง"ฮูป ฮูป ฮูป" หรือ "ฮูป ปู ปู" เวลาเดินส่ายหัวไปมา
คุ้ยเขี่ยหาแมลงและหนอนตามพื้นดิน ไม่ชอบอาบน้ำ แต่ชอบอาบทรายร้อนๆ แทนอาบน้ำ
ติ้วเกลี้ยง Cratoxylum cochinchinense ไม่พุ่ม หรือ ไม้ต้นเล็ก ต้นอ่อนมีหนาม
แข็ง แหลม เปลือกในสีชมพูอมครีม ถึง สีชมพู หรือ สีเหลืองสด มีน้ำเลี้ยงสีส้มใส
ดอกสีชมพูอมส้มสดถึงสีแดงเข้ม เป็นช่อสั้น
ทองโหลง ทองหลางน้ำ Erythrina fusca มีดอกสีแดงเข้ม ถึงม่วง เป็นช่อกว้าง
ออกดอกพร้อมใบอ่อน เป็นพืชป่าใกล้ชายฝั่งทะเล ใกล้น้ำ มักพบปลูกเป็นไม้ประดับ
กะพ้อแรมเซย์ ใบแข็ง แตกออกเหมือนดอกไม้ไฟ ก็คล้ายๆกับกะพ้อคูนเม็ง
เป็นไม้กระถาง ประดับในบ้าน
และไม้ใบหลากชิด เช่น ฟิโลกล้ามเกลี้ยง ดาวแดง ยังมีเลือดในใต้ ไทรสามเหลี่ยม
Eurasian Hoopoes
Are colorful birds found across Africa, Asia, and Europe, notable for their distinctive "crown" of feathers. They are also found throughout Thailand.
The singing is very cute: "hoop hoop hoop".
Cratoxylum cochinchinense commonly known as Yellow Cow Wood, is a tree with hard, pointed bark, creamy pink to pink or bright yellow, with clear orange sap. The faintly fragrant flowers are bright orange pink to dark red in a short bouquet.
Erythrina fusca commonly known as Purple Coral Tree has dark red to purple flowers in a wide bouquet. Flower with young leaves, it is a wild plant growing on coasts and along rivers in tropical Asia. It is often found planted as an ornamental plant.
Asian paradise flycatcher
นกแซวสวรรค์ เป็นนกประจำถิ่นของประเทศไทย
พบได้ในภาคเหนือ ภาคตะวันตก และภาคใต้ ต้องเคยเห็นบ้างแหละ
มีอยู่ทุกภาคเลย ชื่อก็แปลกๆ แซวสวรรค์ โดยที่ตัวผู้จะมีสีขนเป็นสีน้ำตาลแดง
และสีขาว ส่วนตัวเมียมีเพียงสีน้ำตาล บริเวณหน้าและคอจะเป็นสีเทาเข้มออกน้ำเงิน
ส่วนหัวสีเข้มกว่าใบหน้า มีหงอนสั้น อกสีเทา ท้องสีขาว ในช่วงฤดูผสมพันธุ์
ตัวผู้หางจะยาวออกมามากกว่าปกติ และสีจะเข้มขึ้นทั้งสีที่หัวและหาง
ชมพูซ้อน Rhodoleia Championii แค่ชื่อก็น่ารักแล้ว ลักษณะเกสรซ้อนๆกัน
มีกลีบดอกสีชมพูถึงสีแดงสด พบได้ใน จ. นราธิวาส
เลือดในใต้ Campylotropis bonny ไม้พุ่มกิ่งเล็ก ไม่มีหนาม สีม่วงอ่อนถึงเข้ม
เป็นช่อยาวเรียว ไม่แตกแขนง พบบนยอดเขาหินปูน จ. กระบี่
หยีน้ำ Millettia Pinnata เป็นไม้ต้นเล็ก ไม่ผลัดใบ ดอกสีขาว ถึง สีม่วง
หรือสีชมพูอมม่วง มีสีเหลืองหรือเขียวแซมด้านในดอก ออกเป็นช่อเล็ก เรียว ไม่แตกกิ่ง
หางนกยูงไทย Caesalpinia pulcherrima ไม้พุ่มหรือไม้ต้นเล็ก มีหลายสี เช่น
เหลือง ชมพู ส้อม หรือ แดง ไม่มีกลิ่น ออกอกเป็นช่อ ทางใต้มีปลูกไว้หลายบ้าน
สวนใหญ่ปลูกริมทาง ต้นใหญ่ ออกดอกสวยมาก
แคฝรั่ง Gliricidia Sepium ไม้ต้นเล็ก ไม่ผลัดใบ ดอกสีชมพูอ่อนหรือสีม่วง
ตรงโคนกลีบดอกกลางด้านในมีสีเหลืองแต้ม ไม่หอม ออกดอกเป็นช่อ ไม่แตกแขนง
Asian paradise flycatcher
Is an endemic bird of Thailand. It can be found in the north, west and south. Males have elongated central tail feathers, and a black and rufous plumage in some populations, while others have white plumage. Females are short tailed with rufous wings and a black head.
Rhodoleia Championii, known as Hong Kong rose, has a small evergreen tree with dangling scarlet flowers, pink to bright red petals, found in Narathiwat Province
Campylotropis bonny, small shrub, thornless, light to dark purple.
It is a long, slender bouquet without branching, found on a limestone mountain peak in Krabi province.
Millettia Pinnata is a small, evergreen tree with white to purple flowers, commonly known as Pongame oiltree, native to eastern and tropical Asia.
Caesalpinia pulcherrima commonly known as poinciana or peacock flower is a big tree with variety of colors, yellow, pink or red. It is widely found in houses or along the road in southern Thailand.
Gliricidia Sepium, common name quickstick is a small, non-deciduous plant with pale pink or purple flowers. At the base of the central petal, the inside has yellow specks.
